The project has been allocated $10m over five years and will also incubate innovative projects by young entrepreneurs in collaboration with other leading blockchain firms.
Bitget has plans to host U30 hackathons to identify the most promising projects. Blockchain4Youth will kick off this month with a series of campus lectures on Web3 in universities across Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand, with Bitget Academy courses also being available at around the same time.
According to a recent Bitget survey, 46% of millennials across major economies currently own cryptocurrencies compared to 25% of Gen X, 21% of Gen Z and 8% of baby boomers.
