The Moskowitz Law Firm, representing victims of the FTX collapse, has been attempting to serve a legal complaint to Shaquille O’Neal regarding his previous endorsement of the now-defunct crypto exchange. However, they have been unsuccessful in their attempts, with security guards not allowing them into TNT studios in Atlanta where O’Neal works as a television host. The law firm has asked O’Neal to show “courtesy and honor” by allowing its process servers to deliver the legal complaint on his behalf so that he can defend his “actions in this matter.”
The law firm has stated that O’Neal is the only one among the “FTX celebrities” who has not yet been served. After numerous attempts in various locations, the plaintiffs believe it is time to start attempting to contact O’Neal via other means, such as “direct messages to his verified social media accounts.” A court filing on April 7 stated that O’Neal is the sole remaining defendant who has not been served.
