Crypto lender Celsius Network is said to be considering legal action against Tiffany Fong, a creditor and crypto blogger, over her alleged leaking of internal information. Fong, who claims she is owed 3.1 BTC and 11.6 ETH by Celsius, has been actively reporting on the bankruptcy case via social media, and has shared leaked internal information allegedly given to her by former Celsius employees.
Kirkland & Ellis International, the legal counsel for Celsius, has disclosed that it billed approximately $72,000 for 77 hours of work on a billing statement titled “Tiffany Fong litigation.” Although no concrete legal action has been initiated, the filing indicates that Celsius’ attorneys specifically investigated the leaked information that Fong disclosed through her social media accounts.
